There is a room in the front of the archives house with a couch and a desk, which Hazrat Inayat
Khan would often come and have meetings with his secretary.
This is a picture of the chair and desk in the room. Perhaps Hazrat Inayat Khan sat on it ?
Beyond the artefacts, which may or may not have been in use in Inayat Khan's time, the most
significant aspect is the atmosphere. There is a story that whenever anyone was in turmoil they would be brought
into the this room to lay on the couch, and be calmed.
We all layed on the couch to try it; it was quite wonderful, and it was wonderful to simply meditate in the room and feel the presence
there.
